One of the freshest brands to hit the footwear industry in years, Irregular Choice have the mission of changing the way we see shoes.


No-one could call Irregular Choice designs bland or boring - even the names spark our interest. With styles such as 'Irregular Choice Oz I'm Bossy Polka Bunny', 'Irregular Choice Sweety Bird' and 'Irregular Choice Tea and Cakes', you know this is brand with a difference before you've even seen their shoes.

Irregular Choice was formed in Brighton by designer Dan Sullivan.

Since their launch just over 10 years ago, the brand has received numerous accolades including 'The Purveyor of Fresh, malicious and multicoloured shoes' by WAD, and 'The Lifestyle Choice of Fashion Footwear' by Super Super magazine.

Design is in Sullivans genes - his parents owned the well-known Transport shop in the trendy Kings Road area of London. This saw them working with the likes of Katherine Hamnett and Red or Dead, and inspired Dan into creating his own unique range of footwear.

The following for Irregular Choice has built considerably over the last decade and continues to grow year on year, as the brand release ever stronger collections that remain true to their original mission.

Irregular Choice is certainly a brand that attracts a loyal fan base - designs the like of which have never been seen before at prices that remain extremely competitive. Despite now being in many mainstream retailers, Irregular Choice have managed to maintain the feeling of still being a cult, must-have and individual brand.

Dan Sullivan and his team now design in excess of 500 pieces per season. In addition to the core footwear range for which Irregular Choice is renowned, these also include handbags and clothing. Collaborations with other leading designers have also seen some great limited-edition pieces being released recently.

Irregular Choice shoes are available from a large number of online retailers including Cloggs, Schuh and Javari, together with many high-street shops. Irregular Choice also operate 3 stores themselves, in New York, London and Brighton.
