Core Converse is back!

Some of our best-selling Converse shoes have just come back into stock. These Core Converse shoes need no introduction, except to say that if you want to buy a pair, be quick - we sold out of most sizes towards the end of last year and it's only now that we've been able to get them back in!

Delivery update

There seems to have been only one talking point in the last few weeks, and that's the snow! The weather forecasters are now talking about "the coldest winter for thirty years" and nowhere seems to have escaped, including Totally Shoes Towers:

Pretty, isn't it? However not so good for delivery drivers - I spoke to the manager of our local Interlink depot earlier and he said that some of his staff, who live only 10 miles away from the depot, took three hours to get home last night due to particularly heavy snowfall. As a result the local depot is closed today and will not be collecting from us - they're hoping to open tomorrow but this depends on the condition of the roads in the morning.

It seems to be a similar story up and down the country, with Scotland particularly badly affected over the last few weeks, so if you've ordered a pair of shoes from us recently and they haven't arrived yet, we apologise - they've almost certainly been held up due to the snow and ice, but we and our couriers are doing everything we can to get the shoes to you as quickly as possible.

On a brighter note Royal Mail do appear to be delivering today and we're hoping they'll collect from us at the normal time - so we'll be sending all shoe orders by post until the Interlink depot opens again.

Once again apologies for the delays and thank you for being so patient - we'll keep you updated on the situation via the blog.

IT'S CHRIIIIIISTMAAAAAAAS!

Yes, it's the same card as last year - we've been too busy to design a new one!

We're off to stuff our faces with mince pies and Brussels sprouts for four days - have a great Christmas and we'll be around between Christmas and New Year if you've been given Christmas spending money and fancy a new pair of shoes!

Christmas deliveries, new Skechers winter boots, and more...

Unless you've been hiding in an underground bunker for the last few days you won't have escaped the wintry weather here in the UK. We have had a few problems with Interlink depots closing around the country due to snow and ice - if you ordered over the weekend and are worried you won't get your parcel then don't worry, it may be taking a bit longer than usual due to the weather but it will get there.

If you're thinking of ordering a last-minute Christmas present there's still plenty of time. As long as you order before 4pm on Wednesday 23rd you'll get your shoes, because, like Father Christmas, both Interlink and Royal Mail deliver on Christmas Eve (white Christmas permitting!).

Just remember to tick the "Express Shipping" box when ordering (if you don't see it, it's because your shoes have been upgraded to express automatically) and your parcel will be sent on a next day delivery service.

And speaking of the icy conditions, the latest batch of Skechers winter boots for women has arrived just in time! First of all, we managed to get some Skechers Grand Jams boots in stock last week - these have been selling incredibly quickly due to the cold snap and they're almost all gone now, but we do have them in a brand new colourway of charcoal. Stocks are very limited though, so don't miss out!

There's also several brand new styles of ladies winter boot, all at excellent prices. First, the Keepsakes Coozy suede boot, which can be worn rolled up or down to suit:

Next there's the Keepsakes Blur - nothing to do with Damon Albarn and Parklife, but a really cosy boot for winter weather (two colourways):

The Skechers Blitzer Ice Escape features suede upper, large buttons and soft faux fur lining (two colourways):

And lastly for the winter boots, the Cunning Intricate is a very affordable alternative to some of the more expensive "ugg-style" boots on the market (two colourways):

As well as ladies boots, we've added several new styles and alternative colourways of existing favourites to the site. Firstly, three new designs of Shape-Ups - two colourways of Shape-Ups Training for women, and the mens' Shape-Ups Regimen. ALL our Shape-Ups are now only £69.94 including free delivery - we believe you won't find them cheaper anywhere!

Next there's two styles of Skechers Bikers for women: the brand new Bikers Luster, and Bikers Flower-Girl which is available in the new colourway of charcoal and black:

The Sassies Skystep is a brand new low profile womens' trainer, available in two colourways:

Finally there's two new styles for men - the Merric Invented and Flexxer Trended:

New Skechers shoes!

We've just unloaded the last big Skechers delivery of the year, and only just in time I think, as I think it's going to snow any minute now! With the weather being decidedly chilly at the moment you'll be pleased to see these winter warmers in stock again - that's right, Skechers Grand Jams boots are back and already selling incredibly well.

However, if you're the sort of person who likes to keep warm by keeping fit, the following Skechers Shape-Ups have come back into stock, and with a fantastic new price tag too - we've taken over £20 off the recommended retail price of every pair!

Finally, we've had top-ups of some of our Skechers best-sellers, including the Bikers Goldmine and Flower Girl, and for men, the Skechers Flexxer and Cool Cat Bully boots (2 colourways):

But if none of these are to your taste, there's plenty of new designs which will be going on the site tomorrow - meaning you can still order well in time for Christmas! Check the blog tomorrow for further details...
