New Converse!

We've been a bit quiet on the delivery front lately, but this week should make up for it! There's new ranges from Skechers, Fly London, New Balance, Vans and Etnies to talk about this week... but first, new Converse shoes!

Firstly we're proud to bring back the classic Stars & Bars design - for all lovers of Americana, this one's definitely for you!

And speaking of all-American icons, how about this new pair of chucks inspired by New York new wave band Blondie, which feature Debbie Harry wearing that swimsuit?

But if you prefer your punk idols home-grown, here's another fantastic new pair of Clash Converse:

We had some Converse Slim Ox in last month, and we're pleased to introduce two new colourways - black and navy. These are bound to be just as popular as the standard Ox, and with their slimmer soles it'll feel like you're not wearing any shoes at all!

These two funky new designs for ladies, with neon pink piping and laces, will certainly get you noticed in a crowd:

Converse Print always seem to sell out incredibly quickly and these, with their graffiti-style design, are sure to be no exception:

If you love Converse as much as we do then you won't be able to resist these two new retro styles - the Comic Hi ("I can't get enough of Chuck Taylor!") and Love Ox, which is inspired by Robert Indiana's classic 60s design:

But perhaps you love something or someone so much that you want to tell the world? Well look no further than these two new Product Red designs, which feature a blank space... so if you want to declare how much you love your mum, or chocolate, or your cat Tiddles, then just fill in the gap! You can find more information about Product Red here.

If you're a fan of Star Player you'll love these - it's a Star Player but in the style of a Converse Hi boot!:

And finally, staying with Star Player, we now have two new designs for older children, available in sizes 11 through to 5.

And as well as the new styles above, we've had top-up deliveries for the following shoes (click to view each one):

Phew! That should keep you busy for a while... be sure to check back in the next few hours as we'll have an update on Skechers shoes for you!

New Converse and New Balance

We've just taken delivery of some new Converse shoes. First of all, for all you rock fans, not only do we have a new style of Clash Converse but we've also taken delivery of some more The Who converse - these sold out incredibly quickly in 2009 and due to overwhelming demand Converse have made some more.

We've also had a new style of Converse Ox with a slimmer sole - the Converse Slim is available in mens' sizes as well as womens':

Speaking of slimmer soles, we've had some more of the amazingly popular Converse Light Ox for women, including a new black monochrome colourway:

We've also had a delivery of New Balance shoes - today it's the New Balance 780 country walking shoe, which is a lightweight alternative to traditional hiking boots. Available in mens' and womens' sizes in both medium and wide fittings.

Core Converse is back!

Some of our best-selling Converse shoes have just come back into stock. These Core Converse shoes need no introduction, except to say that if you want to buy a pair, be quick - we sold out of most sizes towards the end of last year and it's only now that we've been able to get them back in!

The Clash Converse now here!

It's exactly thirty years to the day since The Clash's classic album London Calling was released, on 14th December 1979. With its mix of punk, rock, reggae, ska and pop, the album regularly appears near the top of those "best albums of all time" polls that seem to come out every year in music magazines. It's certainly one of my favourite albums ever (I first heard it on a pub jukebox in the early '90s and rushed out to buy the CD the following day!) - listening back to it now it sounds every bit as relevant, both musically and lyrically, as it did in 1979, and who can forget that album cover?

Anyway, enough of the music review. The reason I'm banging on about The Clash is this stunning new London Calling Converse shoe which has just been delivered. Inspired by the original artwork from the album, these shoes feature premium white leather upper, with the LONDON CALLING logo from the album, a 14/12/79 date stamp near the heel, laces in matching colours as well as white, and Clash logo on the sole. Click the pictures below to view larger images, and you can click here to order.

Of course if you're under 30 there's a chance you won't have heard London Calling before - so here's some links so you can have a listen (the modern-day equivalent of the pub jukebox). Click here to play the album through we7 (a free service which streams music through your web browser), or here if you have Spotify (no, we don't have any Spotify invites - sorry!)

And if you've only got a few minutes, you can watch the official video to the title track:

Right, in the spirit of punk rock I'm off to smash up some guitars... and when I've done that there's a large delivery of Skechers shoes to put away - back soon.

3 new Converse designs

We had a small delivery of Converse shoes yesterday which are now available to order.

Converse Light
with their slim sole have been very popular since we introduced them earlier in the year, and here's the latest addition - a Converse Light Ox in white monochrome:

This unisex shoe (available in adult sizes 3 to 12) may look like the classic Optical White ox but it has one difference - it's leather rather than canvas:

Finally, there's the kids' All Star Hi in charcoal which is ideal for boys and girls and available in youth sizes 11 - 2:

Have a great weekend!
