More DCs, Caterpillar, Groundhog

As we mentioned a couple of days ago we've had some more styles of womens' DC shoes come into stock. These lightweight new Chelsea designs come from DC's summer 2009 collection and feature up-to-the-minute styling.

We also received two new colourways of the popular mens' Caterpillar Status shoe: the low shoe in Smoke colour and the hi version in Tyre.

Finally, another ladies' shoe to add to our eco-friendly Groundhog range: the Knoxville.

Groundhog now in stock - plus new Caterpillar and Fly London

Morning... or is it afternoon?! Hope the change in clocks didn't catch you out this weekend. I'm very pleased we've moved to British Summer Time, not only because it stays lighter in the evenings, but also because my three-year-old son keeps waking up at six o'clock in the morning - at least 7am is a bit more respectable!

Anyway as Carl mentioned last week, we've just had a delivery of Groundhog eco-friendly shoes. There's currently four womens' styles to choose from - the Fergus, Pontiac, Tusa and Jane - with more expected this week.

As you can see they look great and literally don't cost the earth!

We've also had five new mens' shoes and two womens' from Caterpillar. They may be most famous for their work boots, but Cat's new spring/summer range is definitely aimed at the more fashion-conscious consumer, as you can see here:

Finally, now it's definitely springtime now's the time to start thinking about your summer holiday. The essential beach wear for men this summer is the new Fly London Kipper sandal, which will keep you looking cool from Barbados to Bournemouth. Here it is:

Eco Friendly Shoes

Hi,

Jumping the gun a bit here, but we've just received delivery of a great new brand - Groundhog.

Groundhog offers the same styling as found with many fashion brands but their shoes are made as Eco-Friendly as possible, by using the following:-

* All Groundhog Shoes packaging is made from recycled fibers
* Where possible we try to source materials local to the factories where the shoes are produced- minimizing on transportation
* To minimize the effect on our environment, our Groundhog Shoes are shipped by sea carriage
* Our Eco Friendly molded soles are made from recycled rubber compounds
* Our foot bed is made from natural coconut matting & provides a comfortable platform for the wearer
* Crepe rubber is a natural product that comes from the sap of Lactae Hevea rubber trees

Lee is setting these up on the site even as I type so lookout for them very soon:-
